I just finished reading Bramblestar's Storm a few days ago, and, while I know that this wasn't actually said, he did question if he would actually see Ferncloud in StarClan after his death. So, then I began to think: Dustpelt has one of the most tragic stories of all time.
*His initial love fell for a kittypet
*Each of his daughters (Larchkit, Hollykit, and Icecloud) ended up dying long before their times, and two of his sons (Foxleap and Shrewpaw)
*One of his TWO surviving sons is a traitor (Birchfall) while the other is a poor excuse of a father.
*His grandson (Toadleap) died
*His loving mate died.
How much more tragic do you have to get?!

Overall Vision Originality Technique
ImpactI love this picture.
Pros: The picture has a nice depth to it.Dustpelt's design is great and unique.Ferncloud's transparency gives a great effect.Both Dustpelt and Ferncloud's open eyes look right and gives Dustpelt(along with his muzzle)give him a suitable expression. The background is amazing and really suits the picture. And possibly most important of all the anatomy is correct.
Cons: Ferncloud's expression doesn't suit the rest of the picture and the light around Dustpelt might look better in a different color.Besides that I don't think there is much else wrong in this picture.
To sum it up I really like this picture and it it going straight to my favourites.
